After a successful first season, we were awarded the WeddingWire Couples Choice Award and The Knot Best of Weddings Award! These awards are presented to the highest and most-rated wedding professionals as reviewed by real couples, their families and wedding guests. We’re thrilled to win these awards and hope they’re the first of many! 🙂
It’s been a long time since we’ve written a blog post and that’s because we’ve been busy hosting weddings & events! Despite the challenges of covid19, we hosted over a dozen weddings & events with social distance measures in place. We’ve booked a ton of weddings for 2021, but we’ve got a handful of weekend wedding dates still available throughout the season, including next fall! If you’re searching for a venue for your rustic yet modern wedding, drop us a line!
P.S. – Check out the barn gallery page some for some updated photos from this fall!
Despite all the curveballs that 2020 threw at is, construction is finally finished and we’re hosting our first events later this month! We plan to host about a dozen weddings this fall, along with a few birthday parties and baby showers. We’ve still got a handful of weekend dates available this coming winter and next spring, so if you’re interested in hosting your wedding, birthday party, retirement party baby shower or any other type of event with us please reach out!
Its been a little while since we posted an update on construction, but don’t worry – everything’s going great! On the exterior, almost all the windows have been installed, the siding and window trim has been installed and the standing seam metal roof is over half way completed. On the inside, the concrete floors have been polished, the interior framing is complete and the electrical, plumbing and HVAC are most of the way done. The underground utility work is nearly complete, and paving and concrete should be done over the next couple of weeks. We expect to be finishing up construction early next month, and we begin hosting our first weddings in October! Check out our construction progress page for updated images and please continue to check in over the next few weeks for more updates!
Construction is still going very well. The barn frame is all up, the perlins and ceilings are up, and the crew is in the process of installing the structurally insulated panels along the roof. The 2×6 walls between the bent sections are also installed along the entire first floor, and the second floor walls are underway. Some new videos and images have been uploaded to the construction progress page! We plan to continue to update this page over the next few months, so please continue to check in to see more images and videos.
We just added a page to the gallery section of our website with images of the construction. There are three different slideshows, and the images are in no particular order. The first slideshow has images of the barn being assembled and test-fit in Nebraska, the second slideshow has images of the barn foundation, and the third slideshow has images of the site work at the property. The barn kit is being shipped to us this weekend, so we will have more images to share next week!
With the Coronavirus going around right now, many couples are stuck at home and waiting for everything to pass before they tour venues. Did you know that we can offer a ‘virtual tour’ of our barn? While this isn’t exactly a ‘tour’ per se, what we do is set up a video call where we can meet with you virtually and then we share our screen to show you the floorplan for our barn, the site plan for the property, describe the location and discuss our catering options and pricing details. We’ve been meeting with many couples each week to do this and we’d be happy to meet with you! If you’d like to schedule a ‘virtual tour’ / video call with us, please visit this link to schedule a date and time: https://calendly.com/bullmeadow/meeting
